Our commission varies based on the final sale. This means that we never sacrifice a sale just to make a certain percentage. Our main goal is to get the instrument back onstage. You may wonder, what exactly goes into the listed price? We start with the amount the seller needs, then supplement that based on demand and fair market value, taking into consideration merchant fees and other transaction expenses. Our commission is the remaining amount once a final sale price is established.

Once an instrument sells, either the seller or MalletShop arranges packaging / crating of the said instrument(s). We arrange pick up and handle all shipping details.

We will hold the buyer's funds until the instrument is received. We allow 5 days, as posted on our Puchasing page, for a buyer to confirm that the instrument(s) is in the condition stated. We then release a payment to seller via PayPal or company check. Any associated PayPal payment fees are the responsibility of the seller.

We do ask that consignment sellers refrain from listing their instrument(s) elsewhere when advertising on our site to avoid multiple parties entering into simultaneous sale agreements. You are welcome to remove your listing at anytime provided we are not already engaged in sale discussions or a sale transaction. Our listings move quickly based on the reputation our site has built over the years and the assurance individuals have in our company.

We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover enabling individuals to pay for big ticket items more easily.
