Century of Progress
3.5 octave 1933 Century of Progress marimba, F-C with beautiful aged Honduran aged rosewood bars. Original finish is in good condition. Brass hardware and resonators are clean and in fair condition, with minor cosmetic blemishes. Instrument bears brass plate with the following inscription:
"This Concert Grand World Fair Model Marimba built especially for June Frances Trede serial No. 75 built by J.C. Deagan Inc. Chicago for the Century of Progress one hundred piece marimba band A.D. 1933"
